Not what I wanted to hear.

Today we did not get good news from Ethiopia in our pursuit of adopting twin 6 year olds. It is not the end of the journey, just a point where it requires new seeking, new discernment, new wisdom, new faith, and new action. We are deeply committed to caring for these two kids. The circumstances surrounding us being connected to them we believe were directed by the Lord. Our struggle is that these kids are victims of a system designed to serve them but somewhat corrupted by authority, power and of course money. I hear the call of God to pursue them, chase after them and protect them. I don't know what that looks like, but I know it is different than what I am currently doing. Praying... discerning...planning...crying out... as we pursue the heart of our Father.
